I painted this summer Lake Michigan scene a few weeks ago at Schlitz Audubon. When I brought it home, I placed it randomly next to some of my winter paintings for drying time. Then, I noticed about the same composition and skyline/treeline of these two paintings....the difference being ice vs. sand! And, the difference of six months!
