Painted yesterday with the Wisc. plein air painters group near Old Ashippun. I loved the way these farm buildings held together. The morning was a mix of sun, wind and clouds. There was a very light frost/snow cover on the grass, but I decided to make it more of a true spring painting.
Yes, our Wisconsin red barns call out for green. I am so glad you used your artistic license and put the green into this WONDERful painting.
